Blur Cultural Hub
CONCEPT:
"Blur" is a cultural food hub inspired by the blurry memories we leave behind. It aims to recreate nostalgic memories of food and cherished moments with loved ones and helps customers reconnect with their cultural heritage by serving a varied selection of street food centered cuisines from their home countries. This hub blurs societal boundaries by bringing people from different cultures together over food and conversation, creating a platform for learning and experiencing diversity. Each food stall represents a different continent, celebrated for its diverse street food offerings and nostalgic memories. Monthly, these stalls rotate through various countries within their respective continents, offering patrons an ever-changing culinary journey filled with flavors from around the world.

iGuzzini Light Design Challenge:
Linked Prints takes inspiration from the rich tradition of sharing food and eating with one's hands, symbolizing unity through fingerprints while emphasizing the imprint of identity. It symbolizes the timeless bond that forms when diverse individuals come together over a shared meal, much like the shared spirit of enjoying street food and savoring it with our hands while instilling mindful eating. The fingerprints serve as a reminder that, despite our differences, we are all linked by a shared essence that binds us together—similar to the infinite link that converges into harmony. Their fusion at the center signifies how food blurs societal boundaries, uniting people from varied backgrounds amidst the vibrant tapestry of flavors and traditions. The gradient hues evoke the sensory journey of savoring street delicacies, remindful of fond memories and cultural encounters. By embracing the tactile experience of food, this design embraces the deepening of connections between individuals and the food they share.
